This month’s Wanker of the Month goes to the Canadian Union of Public Employees (also known as CUPE, among other acronyms) local 2204.
These bottom-feeders represent day care workers in Eastern Ontario. They claim, on their web site, to be “the front line workers making child care work in eastern Ontario” and “work in community-based child care and parent-staff co-operative programs in Eastern Ontario”.
But if you really want to know what CUPE 2204 is about, you need look no further than the only photo on their web site — right there on the front page. Smiling, holding a banner, and picket signs. If these nimrods had a single collective brain cell they’d post a photo of one of their members working with children.
The lady who wrote in to nominate them had this to say,
While some are great with children, overall my experience with CUPE 2204 members at our daycare is that they are poorly educated and suffer from an inflated sense of entitlement. They call themselves “teachers” but many can not write a grammatically correct sentence. The children come second to their incredibly generous collective agreement.”
What more can we say. CUPE might, in fact, be Canadian for “wanker”.
